As a 10 year old boy Lennie's life took a dramatic change when his mother died from a long illness. He never knew his father, so Lennie and his brother, Kester became orphans and were placed in a childrens home on Tooting Bec Common.

Lennie excelled through school and the age of 18, after completing his A-Levels, he left home to pursue a career as an actor at the Guildhall Drama School.

His most important and personal work to date is the autobiographical tv film Stormdamage, which was based on Lennie's friendship with a troubled boy who lived at the home Lennie was helping out at. It features himself, Adrian Lester and Ashley Walters of So Solid fame.

Lennie lives with partner Giselle and their three daughters.
